Thai women Smuggler

While browsing the ny daily news, I came across a very interesting story. A Taiwanese women swallowed 1280 ecstasy pills to smuggle into an island resort called Bali. Custom officals were suspicious of her because she appeared to be nervous and when she had a body search at Bali's international airport , her stomach was hard. So they sent her to the hospital and there they discovered that her stomach was full 1280 ecstasy pills. The pills weighed about a pound worth $50,000. Bodies on the Beach

Im writing this on assignment, not out of pure concern or interest. I've read two articles about this serial killer discovery. One from the nypsot http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/craigslist_murder_rampage_Zkktd4Se9WQoznhlUq4SzN/0 and the other from the daily news http://www.nydailynews.com/news/ny_crime/2010/12/16/2010-12-16_long_island_bodies_search_intensifies_as_police_ramp_up_efforts_expecting_to_fin.html .
The article from the new york post is sloppy. The ideas/facts are all over the place. There's no main idea. There wasn't a smooth transition from topic to topic. The called the alleged serial killer the "the long island serial killer" They believe that one of the victims and her family know her murderer. Then they say that this women might not even be one of the bodies.
The daily news article was a much better read. I had facts. It explained how the missing girl wasn't one of the body's. And they had a quote from the accused. It showed things from his said. How he cooperated with the authorities and now his reputation is ruined. The article discussed that the case will go on and gave alot of information. They inform the people that the remains of bodies are at the city medical examiners office in Manhattan where they will be examined and analyzed by forensic examiners. I was also informed that the bodies were so decomposed that dental records will have to be used to identify them and that extracting DNA from the remains would take at least a month.

In reality both news papers should what until they have factual evidence before the print another article about this topic. The should have the decomposed bodies identified and the correct murderer in hand.

They decided to beat a 50 year old gay man Jack Price. Daniel Aleman, 27, blamed it on the alcohol. * no pun intended. I think people should take responsibitly for there actions, if you have bad judgement when you drink then you shouldnt drink simple as that. Now they both will serve eight years in prison.

The Jets were playing one of there worse games so strength coach Sal Alosi standing on the sideline stuck out his knee while Dolphin corner back Nolan Caroll sprinted along the sideline during punt coverage. Personally in my opinion his decision to trip the corner back was not only unsportsman but immature. I myself am an athlete and when playing the game you hold your head up high no matter the circumstances (winning or losing) . As a coach he should have accepted defeat and respected the fact that the other team was better. Now not only did he ruin his reputation but the teams as well. The NFL fined the Jets $100,000 stating that "The fine has been imposed on the Jets to emphasize that clubs are accountable for the actions of their employees and have the obligation to ensure that all members of their organization comply with league rules." Just for making a trip, a split second decision, an immature action, Sal is now suspended for the rest of the season and fined $25,000

Ny Times

So I went on http://www.nytimes.com/ and I didnt find anything intresting that caught my eye. I guess im just used to it. Crazy things happen in the city of New York so when I hear something wild, it doesnt really have that whole "omg" effect. However while I was watching Live with Regis & Kelly this morning they brought up that you might have to pay 25% of an item you want to return. Isnt that ridiculous. Thats not fair that whatever ever i bought didnt fit so I have to pay again to get the same item. Hopefully they dont pass that idea and returning items stays free forever!

The Winter Festival

I should become a critic. The Festival was nice but it wasn't LIVE. The best part in my opinion was the drum line. They're really good and its a student that conducts them which makes it more incredible.  There were solo acts for singing, some of them sang really well but a couple were questionable as to why they had solos. The step team had its first performance and it was hot but for some reason I expected more. I wanted to see some stomp the yard meets you got served type of thing. The cheer leading team was okay. They had a nice routine until the captains were on stage dancing and stepping. * Word on the street is that the step team and the cheer squad got beef because the  cheerleaders had "stole" the step teams steps. I enjoyed my self and screamed/yelled for all the performances. Unfortunately at the end of the festival there was some conflict. I was just like waow this is why we don't have events at this school because people don't know how to act in public.

School Cheerleaders

Its funny that we have school cheerleaders when spectators arent even allowed at games. The cheerleaders dont even travel with any team. Its also ironic that they dont cheer, they dance. I might sound like a hater but im really not. Im just saying that they should rename themselves to the dance team, since technically they dont cheer. Theres nothing wrong with being the dance team(:

Assigned Seating

Today is a school event called The Winter Festival. I have a ticket to go but theres word that you might have to sit according to your ticket. I dont think thats fair. If everyone payed the same amount no one should get a better seat. So basically if you and your friend didnt buy your ticket together at the same time and from the same person, chances are you wont be sitting with them. And another thing is that our school really doesnt have many activities, so when we have them people want to act all crazy as if they dont have any home training.

Winter Weather

Its the beginning of Dec. and its freaking cold out. Its not even winter yet. I hate winter , well let me not use hate, I dislike winter. In my opinoin everyone hibernates until Spring time. Parks are empty, popular streets are empty, everything is dead like a ghost town. The whole atmisphere changes. And people dont come back out until Spring. The winter is so boring. Hungry in School

Have you ever been hungry in school? It’s about the worse feeling alive. All you can think about is that you’re hungry. Then you go around being annoying to all your friends asking if they have food, chips, gum, anything. So now it’s been about 2 periods of emptiness in your stomach and empty thoughts in your brain and you’re cursing yourself because you forgot to go to the store in the morning before school to stock up on snacks. In a delicate situation like this you can only be mad at yourself, so then you get even more upset because you can’t blame anyone but yourself. As soon as school is over the first thing you do is GET FOOD :D  Don’t act like you don’t know what I'm talking about.

Love At First Site

Is it possible to love at first site? I personally believe that its not true. You cant love someone at first site because on first site your just seeing appearance so technically that's lust at first site and you cant love someone just based on looks. However I believe that the expression "you had me at hello" is true. You at least have to talk to the person, it doesn't have to be about much it can just be introducing yourself and then from there love will take its course. There could naturally be an visible connection between the too. Just like Romeo and Juliet for example just minus the tragedies . I hope that when I'm an adult that I could fall in love like in a movie all romantic and all that stuff. Just with out the heartbreak it entails.

Christmas time

Christmas time is one of the most stressful but yet joyous times of the year. I myself is stressed out. First of all I'm broke and I have about 6 people to shop for. Then on top of that I dont know what to get all of these people. But other then that I love Christmas time because the best movies come on tv. The Grench is one of my favorites. Im a fan of the villan, I always want the bad guy to win. This year for Christmas im not even sure of what I want , but I know I dont want much. I want a new pair of uggs, a new phone, and money.

Dec 1st

25 days 'til Christmas!

Today unfortunately I did not make it to school. I was discouraged by the weather. Its so disgusting out. Its rainy and REALLY windy, with super strong winds. I was soaked by the time I got less then half way there. Not only was I wet -_- , my hair was looking crazy too. So accepting defeat , I called up a friend that lived nearby and hung out there ALL day. (i was unable to post this blog on Dec1st)

Black and Yellow

Black and Yellow by artist Wiz Khalifa is currently my favorite song. Its very catchy. I dont see why people dont like it. Alot of people think its stupid and stuff but I think thats just because they dont understand it. He's clearly talking about everything from his diamonds to his cars being black and yellow. Black and Yellow diamonds are rare and exspensive to find , thus the significance of the song. I think its better then the song Lemonad by rap artist Gucci Mane. *leave an opinoin .
